This keeps my teenage son and my husband out of my knitting room when I just want ten freaking minutes of peace. And....it was kind of hilarious to hear my son try to barge in after I’d just told him I was done discussing his overdue homework with him and to get to work. I went upstairs to decompress for a few minutes, remembered I had this, and locked the door. The kid followed me with yet another argument/excuse a few minutes later. Tried to walk in without even knocking (as per usual) and slammed his nose into the door when it didn’t open. He was so outraged and confused and....I laughed. Then he stomped downstairs to do his dang homework. Finally. I like this. It makes those boys leave me alone when I need it, which in turn makes me yell at them less. And it can’t be picked with a paper clip, like most interior door locks.

I travel to many countries for work and have to stay in hotels. Many people I work with have reported waking up with someone standing in their room in the middle of the night or when they get out of the shower. I bought my lock almost a year ago and have been able to use it on every hotel door, except one. I always carry this and a wedge it for hotel door security. It has worked in four countries, including the US. As far as it being difficult to remove, you need to practice with it so that you feel confident that you could remove it in an emergency. I can remove it in the dark in less than two seconds.

This worked perfectly... I feel so safe and secure and it is do easy to use. It fit nicely on my door and i just put it on when im inside and take it off when im leaving..lol it really bolts the door..no one will be getting in unless they have the jaws of life lol. Very convenient!!

I live in a condo building where the police visit a few suites everyday for drug dealing. This apartment has been rented out before to a lady who had quite a few boyfriends. How many still have keys?
